Primary Responsibilities
- Designs and runs our direct services to land trusts
- Organizes training events
- Facilitates the work of the Lake Michigan Shorelands Alliance
- Serves as a land trust representative on agency committees & work groups
Past Jobs & Experience
Before joining Gathering Waters in 2009, Kate was the Operations Coordinator for the Wisconsin State Park System. Prior to that, she headed up coordination of State Park Friends Groups – all of them! And before her years at the DNR, Kate used her dual degrees in Spanish and English Literature in Puerto Rico, where she began her non-profit career as an Americorps Volunteer.

Kate wishes she got out on her bicycle more, but manages to play pick-up basketball every weekend and to walk to work every day. She is a true connoisseur of Wisconsin supper clubs, and is most happy when she’s with her husband and baby up north in Minocqua.
